Culinary Immersion
Culinary Immersion is simple; food, culture, and history come together for a locally immersive experience pleasing to all five senses. Brick House Mercantile "Immersed" provides an opportunity for our friends and guests to travel around the globe with Chef Bahr and the Brick House Mercantile Team, enjoying carefully curated itineraries rich in history, culture, and most importantly - culinary art. A portion of meals are provided by and with the BHM team.

"BHM put together an amazing culinary trip to France. We had lovely accommodations in a real French chateau, delicious food and wine, wonderful group activities, and plenty of private time to plan as you wish. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to immerse ourselves in French culture and cuisine, which included shopping at a local farmers market, helping Chef Jeremy prepare a meal at the chateau, participating in a French cooking class, and tastings at beautiful wine chateaus. Joe, Penny, and Jeremy were fantastic hosts and we can’t wait for the next trip!"

Our passion at Brick House Mercantile & Artisan Kitchen is the full food experience – including gathering around the table with friends who love the food experience as much as we do! Our first attempt at “culinary immersion” took us to Southern France in October of 2023 with 13 guests for 8 days and since then we've been to Tuscany, Rome, Southern Spain, and we head to Sicily in 2026! Our vision of bringing old-world culinary charm to the forefront, immersing with local market ingredients to cook exquisite dinners, experiencing organic and biodynamic wines with local craft winemakers, visiting Michelin restaurants and local cafes, and enjoying the deep history of many regions is realized; culinary immersion with Brick House Mercantile & Artisan Kitchen is a unique travel opportunity where food, wine, history, and culture synthesize into a travel experience that will yield memories of new flavors, new experiences, and new friends.
